FEATURES | Polly Magazine
Polly Magazine is a brand new local, arts and culture publication featuring fashion, art, music, and food. Asha Ama's "Afropunk" collection was debuted in the most recent Fall '15 issue, the bi-annual magazine's first. The editorial spread was shot in Spring Grove Cemetery, which is known for its eerie beauty... perfect for the vampire vibe of the shoot.
We really enjoyed working with Deo, the photographer and owner of the magazine.
He had to jump through a lot of hoops to shoot at Spring Grove, we actually ended up staying past closing which isn't typically allowed.
The models were troopers. Kara laid in the mud, and Riana almost broke her neck posing in the tree with heels on! All in the name of fashion right?
We are extremely happy with the resulting images, our edgy, vampire feel came through thanks to our amazing team.
